Chinese Activist Liu Sentenced to 11 Years
It is a dream of Liu Xiaobo, the prominent Chinese dissident who was sentenced to 11 years in jail Dec. 25, for a democratic system like the one in Taiwan to someday take shape in China.
Liu, who had been detained since December last year, was given the jail term — one of the harshest ever for any Chinese dissenter, on charges of “inciting subversion of state power, ” a vague and unique term that China uses to prosecute its dissidents. Read more

This letter was submitted to my blog by a Taiwanese native who is against the tyranny and human rights abuses that occur in communist China. It was in response to my article, “Some Chinese Eat Dead Babies for Strength,” and ” One Child Policy: The Case For Killing Junior.”
What everyone needs to realize is that what is happening in China and many other parts of the world is as real as one bullet to the head for selling a bag of weed. To think that this simply can never happen here in America or in the UK is truly ignorant thinking. From the sad looks of our current state of sick affairs, I envision these same types of atrocities occurring on US shores sooner, rather than later.
This is an eyewitness account to the facts of what is really happening in China.
